You may have noticed some changes to our packaging as we continue to take important steps to reduce our impact on the planet.

As part of our Green Packaging Initiative, the EPS supporting blocks in the handlebar have been replaced by plastic-free cardboard pieces. These clever replacements provide the same sash-protection functionality but are 100% plastic free and 100% recyclable.

How to use them

Using the pictograms as a guide, fold the sides of the cardboard pieces and connect them to the sash corners.

As they are made of cardboard, we advise you only use them on dry surfaces.

These new paper-based pieces have been designed to provide the exact same sash-protection functionality you have always relied on.

So once the supporting blocks are in place, the sash will be protected from any knocks, scratches and damage during the installation preparation phase.

Why the change?

The Green Packaging Initiative is part of our Global Sustainability Strategy and our ambitious target for single material, zero-plastic packaging that’s 100% recyclable by 2030.

As you know, packaging is a crucial part of our products, ensuring safe transportation and minimising damage.

Adjusting the makeup of packaging from a mix of paper, cardboard and plastic to solely paper and cardboard, makes it simple for you, the installer, to dispose of.

It also ensures we continue to play our part in the fight to cut down on waste and move away from plastic.
