Extension project wins latest bi-monthly competition

Every two months, our bi-monthly competition celebrates the great projects that you work on.

Thanks to everyone who has submitted photos of their VELUX projects in the Certified Installers Facebook group. Despite the Arctic weather, you’ve worked on a varied range of jobs over recent weeks and it’s been great to see what you have been up to.

We run the competition every two months, so keep uploading your photos to the Facebook group and you’ll have a chance to win. The latest round of the competition has been judged, and it’s a great extension project that’s our new winner.

Single storey extension project wins latest competition

When you post details of your project in the Certified Installer Facebook group, we’ll enter it into our bi-monthly competition.

That’s what Josh Shepherd did with his single-story extension project. Congratulations to Josh who wins the latest round of the competition for fitting combination installation of White Polyurethane VELUX roof windows in this residential extension. Josh wins £100/€120 in Rewards points.

Commenting on Josh’s win, Eoghainn from VELUX said: “Josh has shown great use of the VELUX White Polyurethane windows, as with this out of reach installation the maintenance-free internal finish will not require upkeep. In addition to this the use of three VELUX roof windows will maximise daylight into what was initially a small, dark space.”

Josh follows in the footsteps of Daniel Moore who won January’s competition with a lovely hip to gable loft conversion. Daniel combined three Cabrios and three flat roof Integra windows to give both a welcoming look to a bedroom and a beautiful view over local countryside.
