Get ready for more interest in VELUX windows as the latest VELUX TV campaign is now live

Last year, VELUX launched an ambitious TV advertising campaign designed to drive consumer interest in roof windows.

The campaign was a huge success, with a significant increase in the number of consumers heading online to search for VELUX. Following the success of this campaign, we’re launching two new ads – so it’s time to prepare for an increase in enquiries!

2018 TV campaign saw highest number of VELUX searches in a decade

The 2018 TV ads showed the ‘indoor generation’ how they could improve their lives by adding natural light and fresh air.

These ads resulted in organic searches for VELUX reaching their highest level in 10 years as consumers headed online to research our roof windows.

In addition, the tagline ‘search VELUX extensions’ was so successful, searches surpassed both ‘house extensions’ and ‘home extensions’ on Google.

Impacting consumer awareness and consideration of VELUX roof windows helps grow the market for VELUX products and, simultaneously, increases the demand for Certified Installer services. During last year’s TV campaign, there was a 59% uplift in traffic to the find an installer page.

Now, we’re embarking on another TV campaign aimed at driving awareness and new business. Keep reading to find out how this is set to increase your enquiries this April.

2019 campaign focuses on lofts and extensions

Heavyweight TV activity featuring VELUX products is now running again.

Our new campaign is set to reach 45 million people during a six-week period, with almost 17,000 individual advert spots booked on all major terrestrial and digital channels.

Expect to see VELUX adverts in ITV, Channel 4 and Sky networks across the UK, plus RTE and TV3 in Ireland.

The ads show how adding more natural light and fresh air can benefit ‘the indoor generation’ and they encourage viewers to search ‘VELUX extensions’ or search ‘VELUX lofts’.

As more and more consumers use these search terms, we’re expecting to see a significant increase in demand for both VELUX products and installation services. With the ‘find an installer’ option featuring on the VELUX website, you can expect to see an increase in enquiries for your services.

In addition, as a Certified Installer we’ll be giving you exclusive access to these TV ads and supporting marketing material. This will mean that you can share these ads and other marketing collateral on your own website, further increasing demand for your services.
